Rajdeep Banerjee, MEng

Rajdeep Banerjee is an intern in the Tokuda Lab at Brigham & Women’s Hospital working on real-time shape sensing for needle guidance in brachytherapy for gynecologic and prostate cancer. He holds a Bachelors of Science and Master’s of Engineering in biomedical engineering, both from Cornell University. His interests lie at the intersection of image guidance, minimally invasive diagnostics, and treatment planning. His prior work includes synthetic drug delivery mesh design and chemical assessment for ophthalmic cystinosis, non-invasive cancer detection using ARF-OCE, and wireless intracranial pressure monitoring. His work has received provisional patent applicant status and has been presented at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting. In his free time, Rajdeep enjoys running, listening to music, and watching political dramas.
